Very true. HMRC are a nightmare. It's just easier to keep them at arms length. They will fine you or demand repayment at the drop of a hat.

Unless of course you are a coffee grinding con outfit or named after a South American river multi national which in reality owes HMRC billions......then your lawyers schmooze the HMRC bosses and get let off with a few measley millions of payback...........rant over.

Very true Rog. Makes me laugh when scams of the influential, rich and famous come to light and everyone is shocked. Mere tip of the ice berg as is tax fiddling by multi nationals.
