At 17:35PM GMT on Saturday the 3rd of January 2009, a special Doctor Who confidential will air on the BBC.

But what makes this so special, you may be asking? Well, I'll tell you. It's special because in it, they will announce which actor is to play the 11th Doctor!

We will of course announce who the 11th Doctor will be under spoiler control so as to inform those who are unable to see it tonight, but also not to ruin it for those who wish not to know just yet.

Happy New Year 2009 people! It's been an up and down year in 2008, with news of only 4 Doctor Who specials in 2009, David Tennant quitting Doctor Who at the end of those specials and Russel T Davies also leaving the show. 2008 was also a bad year for DW4N, with the server crash in August leaving the site immobalised for four months before Fraser was able to fix it.

However, it is now fixed, so, roll on 2009, let's see what it brings.

Due to server errors back in August, much of the DW4N site has been in disarray. But now that Fraser has time to work on it, the site is slowly getting fixed. This is the list of things Fraser intends to have done before the year is out:

Fix the news system completely
Fix the newsletter system

After this he plans to:

Work on a new RPG
Work on forums

Hopefully these will not take long. We will keep you updated as work progresses. Again, apolagies for these errors. A full apolagy will be printed when the site is fully fixed.
