How f'kin cold this morning!

That sounds a bit painful there JJ - specially the gap being nearly 10x what it should be! I trust you have plenty of painkillers/booze to help get you through this terrible time Tongue On a serious note, I hope you heal quickly, that doesn't sound like the type of injury that makes for an enjoyable festive (bah humbug) period, nor can I imagine it's much use for your line of work Sad

Correct on all points there Frazer.
If I do need surgery then I hope the recovery is quite quick. Might have to juggle some jobs round and try and get the lighter jobs done first after my hols.
Fingers crossed.

Stick to standard blue rinses then and avoid any of the complex hair styles your clients often want at this time of year. Wink

This mornings commute has mainly been swimming on a bike.

Soaked wet through. It hammered down for 1.5 hours.

On the plus side - it was warm so no need for waterproofs as long as I kept moving (which I did).

3 day mileage 102 miles - so my target hit with a ride (home tonight) to spare.  Cool  ... Yep, that will be a nice short one as a reward.
Plus, Gaz is over this way tomorrow. We are going out on the mountainbikes so I want to be full of beans as I've not been out on the mtb for a while.

I bought some 'muffs' for the motorbike that arrived on Monday, fitted them Monday night and my hands no longer feel like they're gonna fall off. They look a bit odd but it's a 125 so the whole bike looks odd (not to mention its rider...), but they do the job of keeping the wind off.

And then the cold weather stopped. It's been 5+ the last few days, so not really getting the benefit of them just yet... But if the purchase caused warmer weather and prevent the cold feeling then that's all well and good Tongue

Big Grin

Today was rather nice weather for December. An enjoyable, (blissfully) non eventful 23 mile spin in. Best way to start the day.  Cool
