Anyone using 'Nest', 'Hive' or 'Tado' smart heating thermostats?

Our house is also toasty because I put the heating on the easy way

That's no fun at all. Plus - Your missus can do that. My missus hasn't got a clue how to control Tado so has resigned herself to the fact that the heating just does what the heating does. Smile It's saved me a fortune!

Two and a half years later and all still well with Tado.
The app has had a lot more features added to give more control and more reports to show how much you are saving.
It's now linked with Alexa so Yaz or the kids can tell Alexa to turn the heating on or off if they want to. It will then swap back to normal schedule at the next change.
It works well for us with us both now being away a lot as we don't have to bother changing the schedule. It knows from geo location that we are away from home and shuts the heating off until we are back.

Well over 3 years later and Tado still running strong. Now integrated with not only phones but Amazon Alexa too so easy to control. Real nice touch that it starts warming the house when it knows a phone is approaching as we are all in/out at odd times so setting timers is impossible.
