Obviously, the mighty REDS are in a final this week. 
Its at the Friends Arena in Stockholm.
I've had to miss a few midweek/night matches this year as my Dad is very poorly - so work and hospital visits have taken priority. More recently the work situation has changed significantly so I can (within reason and seeing Dad) get to games again.
We got a crap allocation for the final, so Jason, Mark and I applied not expecting to get tickets. We applied for flights at the same time (you had to as flights and ticket allocation were linked). We got the "Sorry you were unsuccessful" email soon enough and accepted we would be watching the game on TV.
... then out of the blue we get an email from United saying we had tickets in their (second?) ballot. I got the email at 4pm and flights (which had been cancelled) and official docs had to be confirmed before 8pm that night. We managed to get sorted with half an hour to spare so will be off to Stockholm early doors Wednesday morning. It's just a day jaunt - we get back in Manchester at 4am Thursday morning - but I'm happy with that as I don't want to be away for long.
Our tickets have cost £86 each and are currently selling for £500+ online.
(Touting tossers). Regardless of the potential profit, as in the past we will be using ours to watch the game. 
So, if you have an evening off being G4hey and watch the football keep an eye out for me as I'll wave
