Few words and a few more pictures of our Lads Jolly to Berlin.

We wandered into a few bars over Friday / Saturday. To be fair that's a massive understatement. We were pissed as crickets both nights. So much so that during the long walk to Devils Mountain and back on Sunday not one person moaned about having not had a beer!    

Average price per pint (well, metric equivalent) was 4 euros. We also got into a stupid competition of ordering strong cocktails (average price 7 Euros) and chasers (which averaged 2.5 Euros to 6.5 Euros depending on whether or not Dave ordered them!). 

We really enjoyed the area we stayed in (Friedrichsein). It is very comparable to the Northern Quarter in Manchester. Lots of cafe bars, themed bars and quirky places with street art and a bohemian feel to it. It got busy 9pm to 10pm and then just carried on. We were told there are 80 bars in a very small area. We didn't manage to get into all of them!    A few of the pics taken. All different bars and just a few that we went in.

We didn't bother with a few bars that looked really good because they still allow smoking in Berlin. If it was a smoke pit we just walked straight out - often chased by someone begging us to go back in as most bars were happy to greet five English blokes with a fist full of Euros to spend wanting beer!
